But, who Doesn't Love Peckers!?

...Woodpeckers that is!..

This is a fun take on a painting I made a few years ago. It was inspired by other paintings with simple line work, solid colours, and obviously- birds! Now, I've been able to transform the peice, and make it a little more fun, for all us 'Pecker Lovers'! All birds are special and funny in my books- but Woodpeckers in particular, I find to be hilarious!..'the worst and most needy neighbors- always knocking!' (Just kidding, they're doing good work!) We're so lucky Pelee Island is home to so many beautiful birds. It's also an important part of manys migratory path, allowing unique bird watching all the time! These Downy Woodpeckers (like the one 'depicted' above) stick around all year for our enjoyment- so I wouldn't be surprised if they're truly one of your favourites too!
